"Thank you" sign

A simple thank you can mean so much

As this year winds down, we are all reminded of the people who got us where we are today…our customers!

While they are the lifeblood of your success, many business owners neglect paying sufficient homage to their customers.

Showing your appreciation can come in all shapes and sizes and it’s important to find what fits your business best. It can be as simple as a restaurant manager going out of their way to say thank you to their first time guests, sending a hand-written note to a customer that made a special purchase, or delivering a thoughtful gift in person or through the mail.

We are often called upon to help our clients come up with creative ways to show appreciation to their customers. We suggest stocking items like note cards, special gifts, shipping boxes and labels in your office to take the guesswork out of what to send, and how.

Below are a couple examples that we’ve designed for our clients to help you spark some ideas that you can apply to your business.

Our client, a successful Interior Design firm, was looking for a way to thank their referrals and existing customers. We agreed that a nice bottle of wine would make a great gift. We sourced an elegant stock white box, then designed a custom sticker with our client’s logo and hang tag they could write a personal note on. We delivered all the components to our client’s studio, so when the need arose, they had everything at their fingertips…wine boxes, shipping boxes, packing material, labels and hangtags.

One of our restaurant clients was looking for a special way to thank their investors. As a show of continuous appreciation, a discount card that could be presented whenever they dined with their friends and family was the winning idea. We could have just printed up some standard business cards they could present, and called it a day – but we knew these investors meant a lot to our client. These VIP cards needed to be impressive! We designed custom etched, black metal cards, that doubled as a bottle opener. They were not only super-cool, they matched the branding of our client’s rock-themed restaurant that serves over 52 beers.
