Creating Brand Assets for Shade VIP To Go

One of the highlights at Shade Manhattan Beach is their chef inspired restaurant and modern lounge zinc@shade. Zinc not only treats hungry hotel guests to creative cuisine, they also serve locals and visitors alike, delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Last month zinc@shade launched a unique Family Style Dinner service called Shade VIP To Go, and The Graphic Element was on hand to design all the packaging and marketing materials.

Our project started by developing the name of the program along with the graphic look of the printed materials which included packaging stickers, in-restaurant check stuffers, plastic direct mail discount cards, and a promotional imprinted metal bottle opener magnet that accompanies each Shade VIP To Go meal box.

Our digital marketing tasks included art direction of a social media video commercial, and design of an email marketing template in Constant Contact.

Their new Shade VIP To Go family meal service is a great idea for busy families who want a relaxing meal without the cooking and cleaning fuss.

“Spending time with friends and family is hard to do when school is out and summer activities throw a curve ball into daily routines,” said Michael Zislis, owner of Shade Hotels. “We are hoping that our Shade Drive Thru will take a little of the frenzy out of summer, and make it easier for everyone to gather and share stories about their day over a hot delicious meal.”

Packed and ready to enjoy at home, concerts in the park, or a summer weekend at the beach, each family meal serves four, with a different favorite offered each night at an introductory price of $60.

How does buttermilk crispy fried chicken; cheddar bacon corn bread with sweet and salty honey butter; green beans almandine; buttermilk house salad with chopped egg, vine ripe tomatoes, radish, cheddar and croutons; and mac’ n cheese sound? Are you hungry yet?
