Project Background
Castle Importing is a full spectrum producer of Extra Virgin and Pure olive oils. When it was time to re-design the packaging for their PDP line, they contacted The Graphic Element to come up with a design solution to portray this quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil and make it pop on the shelves of specialty stores.
Our Solution
Our design challenge was to create an authentic, yet updated look to the label and tin. The somewhat plain bottle shape was not able to change, so we decided to create dimension and visual interest by diecutting the label. We chose an olive grove as the back drop for the main theme of the design, also pulling in the olive branch accents. The fonts that were chosen are clean, clear and classic. We handled the extension of the brand to Pure and Pomice through a background color change to the main tin design.
