Project Background
Allergaroo was created as a practical and tasty solution for people with food allergies. Feeding children with food allergies is a challenge. Parents can spend hours in various grocery stores reading labels to find something allergy sensitive kids can eat. This product was created as a convenient alternative that would be safe & delicios for kids with food allergies.
Our Solution
Our challenge was to create a jar label that would compete with the big names in this category, namely Chef Boyardee™ and Spagettios™. We chose bright colors and developed an alligator character as a mascot, to add kid friendly appeal. Jars were chosen, as opposed to the traditional can, to show the meal inside in a fresher more natural looking presentation. Target market was healthy markets and small health food stores.
