Great American Dumplings

Project Background

The Great American Dumpling brand is a line of six Easten style dumplings stuffed with Western style flavors. These unique flavors were created by a chef who served these appetizers in his New York restaurant. He soon noticed that they began selling so many of them they could hardly keep up. He created 6 flavors which we packaged for retail sale for the grocer’s freezer section.

Our Solution

Our design challenge was to portray these appetizers in an upscale gourmet manner while maintaining a warm dinner party-like atmosphere on the box. They were photographed on an Eastern style platter to reflect the dumpling aspect of the brand. Each flavor was differentiated by it’s own individual box color to set them apart in the freezer section.
